Crazy week

This week was a blur of activity. The boys were busy with hockey, Jay announced a HS hockey game and I worked the concessions at a Northland College game. Add to the that the pressure of grades needing to be posted by 8 am Monday morning. In addition, I have been experiencing pain that actually landed me in ER a week earlier. I finally was able to see my dr. for a follow-up and now need to have a CAT scan this coming Monday morning. TOO MUCH!!!! Thankfully I have a lot of people praying and amazingly the peace of God can transcend all understing:-) I am okay. The dr. is checking for two possible problems...neither of which are life threatening. So, I am okay.

Parker and Jay are off to an outdoor hockey tournament today in Lakeland, Wisconsin. Christian and I are taking a much needed day off:-) It feels good to not worry about what time it is, where we need to be, and who we're suppose to meet. I have plenty to do around the house...but I will get to it.....eventually:-)

Badgers vs Packers

Who's the winner? Wisconsin!!!!!
The boys recieved these uniforms from Grandma and Grandpa and have enjoyed facing off. No matter what...Wisconsin always wins:-)

Hope in the midst of a storm

This photo was taken by mom in Arkansas. I found it breath-taking and a reminder that in the midst of lifes storms...there is hope. This was a much needed reminder for me after this past week.

Christmas????

The day after Christmas we found ourselves enjoying the sun at the zoo in California.

Too much fun

The boys celebrated too much with Jake and Zach at his birthday at Splashland.
